The members of The Mansfield 5 each have an extensive background in music and the different aspects thereof. Drawing on their individual experiences and talents these performers combined to create a musical sensation.
If it’s The Golden Oldies you love to reminisce to, The Mansfield 5 do a superb job of reliving those times of fast cars and the birth of rock-n-roll. You’ll hear some Doo-Wop classics like At The Hop and Run Around Sue, as well as some vintage tunes made famous by Porky Chedwick including Night Time and Thrill Upon The Hill.
Knowing the importance that Motown had in developing music of the last half of the century, The Mansfield 5 perform some of the best from Detroit. The group recreates the soulful sounds of songs like Get Ready and Midnight Hour.
Disco as well as the Pop sound come through in numbers including Brick House and Super Freak. The Mansfield 5 delve into the last two decades of the century with the same great fun and enthusiastic attitude that the music of the time expresses.
